While traveling with friends in Medellin, Colombia I met my assistant, now business partner Camila, through a mutual friend.
Soon after we met, I offered her a position as my assistant and began training her on my processes. Only weeks would pass until people noticed her business acumen and began asking me, "Kev, where'd you find her?"
I chuckled because we met how I would meet anyone. But with a smile, I'd say "In the best country in the world."
Building teams had become a skill that I utilized frequently. Everywhere I went, I couldn't help spotting great qualities in people.
After answering the same question for what seemed like the 100th time, it dawned on me that the people asking were in all sorts of industries and niches. They all needed a virtual assistant.
"and how much do you pay her?" they asked.
This answer really made their eyes open up wide. They couldn't believe that for less than $800 a month, I could source a VA. Not to mention, someone as qualified as Camila is.
